Dubai’s schools guide

Tue, 2020-12-08 17:37

Dubai offers has a huge choice of private educational institutions – with 17 different curricula across nearly 200 schools with 281,432 students of 187 nationalities enrolled. The UAE Ministry of Education is tasked with the accreditation of schools in Dubai, while the growth and quality of the education sector is overseen by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), which focuses on happiness and wellbeing, guided by the strategy of the Government. Schools are rated according to regular inspections by the KHDA, which gives a benchmark of quality and transparency to parents seeking the best school in Dubai for their children.

The choice of curriculum for a child will usually be determined by the country they’re from or likely to return to. Each curriculum leads to public examinations and qualifications, so will have a bearing on any future applications to universities or jobs, whether in the UAE or abroad.

This article showcases some of the schools in the vicinity of DAMAC’s various real estate projects and properties for sale in Dubai.
