DAMAC's LOAMS Community Management Agency wins Best Crisis Management Initiative of the Year at IRECMS Dubai Awards
Dubai, UAE — 9 December 2021: DAMAC Properties Community Management Company LOAMS has won big at the IRECMS Dubai Awards held at the JW Marriott Marquis on December 9.
IRECMS (International Real Estate Community Management Summit) Dubai Awards is an initiative that recognises UAE-based companies that are delivering outstanding results in the field of Community Management, Facilities Management, Property Management, and Real Estate in general.
LOAMS, Luxury Owners Association Management Company LLC (LOAMS), won in the Best Crisis Management Initiative Category for showing agility in adapting to newer and more innovative ways to continue serving customer needs, especially during the challenging times of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The award recognised LOAMS for demonstrating resilience during tough times while continuing to show empathy to the unique needs of the customers.

Among the crisis initiatives that LOAMS has achieved this year was the implementation of the Crisis Command Center and the unveiling of a business continuity plan during Covid-19.
LOAMS set up a Crisis Command Centre during the pandemic to enhance the safety of the community. The latest hi-tech delivery notifications were utilised to send SMSs and emails to tenants, owners and visitors to ensure the safety of all during the crisis. The centre was integrated with the VMS and Salesforce software.
Staff working in the CCC prepared and reviewed all potential scenarios and produced standard notices and guidelines. Routine and emergency notifications were sent across building and master communities.
The business continuity plan of COVID-19 ensured operation continuity during the pandemic and lockdown. Back-up teams were kept in isolation as a replacement of any diagnosed cases on site and down-time was strictly maintained at max of 3 hours. LOAMS also diversified its suppliers’ portfolio to ensure around the clock availability of the required services.
Other crisis initiatives successfully implemented by LOAMS were fire risk management, social networking analysis and a live Covid-19 dashboard.
LOAMS was also runner up in two other categories: Best Implementation of Technology and Happiest Residential Community of the Year.
