DAMAC Properties in Saudi Arabia for Cityscape Riyadh
The Middle East’s largest private luxury developer, DAMAC Properties, will be showcasing its award winning regional development portfolio at Cityscape Riyadh.
In addition to DAMAC Properties Al Jawharah Tower in Jeddah, highlighted residential projects include International Property Award-winning “DAMAC Tower,” which is a stunning collaboration with VERSACE Home interiors in Beirut, and DAMAC Properties’ Hyde Park and Park Avenue developments in New Cairo. “DAMAC Properties is the largest private luxury developer in the Middle East, we are strong, we have a proven track record of delivery, and we are heading to Cityscape Riyadh to show our progress in a tough market, and outline our plans for growth in the future” said Ziad El Chaar, General Manager of DAMAC Properties.
DAMAC Properties last month received an International Property Award for “Best High Rise Architecture” for its DAMAC Tower development in Lebanon. DAMAC Tower is the first exclusive VERSACE Home branded residential tower in the region. Situated in the elite marina area of the new Solidere development in Beirut, DAMAC Tower has extensive views of the Mediterranean. The spectacular flowing curves and undulating volumes of the 28 storey building were designed to emulate the surging waves of the ocean.
Speaking ahead of the Cityscape event, El Chaar commented “DAMAC Tower is a masterpiece. DAMAC Properties will also be featuring its Egyptian developments at the event. DAMAC Properties is the master developer of a project in New Cairo, which includes the Park Avenue shopping district, a luxury villa development and a touch of Paris at the French architecturally inspired Centre Ville apartments. DAMAC Properties is offering customers of its next phase of villas at Hyde Park the option to increase the floor space of their villas by more than 40%, by adding a basement and an attic.
Ten minutes from the pyramids of Giza, DAMAC Properties is also progressing well with its Park Avenue shopping mall development at Cairo Alex Desert Road. The Park Avenue boutique retail district is part of Sheikh Zayed City at New Cairo. The retail destination is an exclusive world of boutique retail and office space, for connoisseurs of fine shopping and dining.
DAMAC Properties will be delivering seven major projects over the next 12 months, and currently has more than 12,634 units at various stages of construction across the MENA region. In the last 12 months DAMAC Properties has awarded new contracts to the value of $1billion including 15 main contracts in Dubai, two main contracts in Abu Dhabi and one main contract in KSA.
DAMAC Properties’ core focus for 2011 will be construction and delivery of its projects across the MENA region, with a strong emphasis on satisfying customers.
